The 2015 Tundra marks one of the few truly off-road high-performance full-size trucks on the market - it also remains a capable workhouse. Not only is the Tundra a quality work truck and off-road companion, but it has a stand-out interior that is comfortable, spacious, and filled with some nice tech gadgets. The 2015 Tundra is powered by one of two engines - both being being V8s. The 4.6-liter V8 comes standard on SR double cab models and all SR5 models. Paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, maximum towing capacity ranges between 6,400 and 6,800 ponds.

The 5.7-liter V8 can be found on all 4WD regular cabs, as well as Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro trims - its optional on all other models. This engine creates a bit more power and when paired to the six-speed automatic transmission, it offers a maximum towing capacity between 9,800 and 10,500 pounds.

A nice aspect of the Tundra is the generous choice list that lets you have your truck your way. The 2015 Tundra is available in three body styles, two wheel bases, and six trim levels. Lots to choose from, huh?

The base-level SR provides solid equipment an features from keyless entry, heated mirrors, full power accessories, heated mirrors, full power accessories, windshield wiper de-icer, damped tailgate, cruise control, and two 12-volt power outlets. It also sports a matte-black lower front bumper, rear bumper and grille surround, plus tow hooks. The tech list is enjoyable with a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen interface and four-speaker audio system with all the essentials, like CD player, USB port, iPod interface, and auxiliary audio jack. The SR is also eligible for a bedrail system if you choose.

Opting for the Limited (available in double cab and CrewMax) means nice luxury features, like heated mirrors, upscale silver bullet grille, bedrail system, and leather upholstery. A navigation and smartphone app suite integration system is a nice bonus.

The off-road-themed TRD Pro trim is definitely worth your while if you plan to ride off the pavement. Available in double cab and CrewMax body styles, the TRD Pro is equipped with bonus items, such as: TRD dual exhaust, Bilstein shocks, two-inch increase in ride height, unique exterior styling details, and front skid plate. Seats are comfortable bucket seats and adorn attractive red stitching. Technology gets a nice boost with the inclusion of a larger, seven-inch touchscreen with satellite and HD radio. The TRD Pro also comes with the option of a spray-in bed liner.
